INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER AND PLC's PROGRAMMER

Company, TALLERS SERRA, S.L., a manufacturer of industrial machinery for the corrugated cardboard sector, located in Martorell, needs to fill the position of Industrial Electrical Engineer and PLC Programmer. The main function will be the design of electrical panels for the corrugated cardboard industry. Functions

Perform the general and electrical conceptual design of machines.

Define the conceptual design of prototypes:

  • Supervise subcontractors.
  • Perform the general and electrical design of new customized machines.
  • Request the necessary electrical material for machine installation and field.
  • Prepare instructions for electrical personnel
    • Cable length and type.
    • Layout and location of trays.
    • Numbering.
  • Supply of electrical documentation.
  • Supervise the electrical scope of various workshop installations.
  • Remote assistance to SERRA or external customer personnel.
  • Preparation of diagrams and EPlan review.
  • Electrical quality supervision.
  • Compilation and control of all programs and diagrams in EPlan.
  • Programming of Rockwell and Siemens PLCs.
  • Service programmer

Knowledge and skills

  • Ability to solve complex design problems.
  • Good communication, as they will deal directly with clients.
  • Autonomy in planning and prioritizing own tasks.
  • Proactive and resourceful person.

Requirements

Minium Education: Electrical Engineering, or Automation and Robotics Engineering, or equivalent or CFGS.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Eplan.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical elements.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming (Rockwell and/or Siemens).
  • Programming knowledge (TIA Portal and Studio 5000).
  • Availability to travel (maximum 10% of the time).
  • High level of Spanish and medium-high level of English.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficiency in a CAD program (Solid Works or Solid Edge, AutoCAD).
  • Experience in machinery design.
  • Knowledge of Kuka robot programming.
  • Proximity to Martorell.
  • Immediate incorporation.
  • Other languages.

Schedule

Full-time employment of 40 hours per week, distributed as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 13:30 and 14:15 to 17:00.
  • Friday: 07:30 to 13:45.
