ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

Company, TALLERS SERRA, S.L., a manufacturer of industrial machinery for the corrugated cardboard sector, located in Martorell, needs to fill the position of ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER. The main function will be the design of electrical panels for the corrugated cardboard industry.

Functions

Perform the general and electrical conceptual design of machines. 

Define the conceptual design of prototypes: 

  • Subcontractor supervision.
  • Perform the general and electrical design of special machines.
  • Request quotes from electrical material suppliers.
  • Request the necessary electrical material for machine installation and field.
  • Prepare instructions for electrical personnel: 
    • Cable length and type.
    • Layout and location of trays.
    • Numbering.
  • Supply electrical documentation.
  • Supervise various workshop electrical installations.
  • Remote assistance to SERRA or external client personnel.
  • Preparation of diagrams and EPlan review.
  • Electrical quality supervision.
  • Compilation and control of all programs and diagrams in EPlan.

Knowledge and skills

  • Ability to solve complex design problems.
  • Good communication, as you will directly interact with clients.
  • Autonomy in planning and prioritizing tasks.

Proactive and resourceful person.

Requirements

Minimum education: Electrical Engineering, or Automation and Robotics Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum requirements: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Eplan
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical elements.
  • Availability to travel (up to 10% of the time).
  • Proficiency in Spanish and intermediate to high level of English.

Desired requirements: 

  • Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works or Solid Edge, AutoCAD).
  • Experience in machinery design.
  • Knowledge of Kuka robot programming.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming (Rockwell and/or Siemens).
  • Proficiency in programming (TIA Portal and Studio 5000).
  • Residence near Martorell.
  • Immediate availability.
  • Other languages.

Schedule

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week, distributed as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 13:30 and 14:15 to 17:00.
  • Friday: 07:30 to 13:45.
